Is recycling a solution?

In the world are living nearly 7,000 million people. This positive development has negatives consequences : there is a greater consumption of resources and we generate more waste product. It is also difficult to estimate how many tons of waste are generated annually.

Environmental groups have proposed the "triple r" consisting of: reduce (consumption), reuse (things) and recycle . Now I propose a reflection on this theme: is recycling a solution?
On the one hand, recycling allows to use less natural resources and  it causes less damage to nature: for example, for every ton of recycled paper saves 17 trees. Besides, it generates a consumption responsible and "green jobs" too.
On the other hand, recycling is a complicated and  expensive process .

So, children must learn to recycle at home by example because they will be the responsible of our planet in the future.
In my opinion, recycling helps to save the world but it isn't enough. We need more awareness.
