Plastic surgery has become fashionable in the 21st century. We live in a society where there is a great number of people who are worried about aesthetics and it is really worried.
On the one hand, I think to be operated is not a bad thing to become more beautiful. You are the owner of your own body and if you do not like what you have, you can change it. There are many isolated and discriminated people because of their bodies today. And that is why if a person is not satisfied with their own body, they can change with help of plastic surgery.
On the other hand, plastic surgery presents risks and it is not something really necessary unless it is used in cases of health problems. For example, if you can not breath well you should be operated.
Surgery is not a game and it should be used only when it is necessary.

Food
Food is essential in our lifes. It is what does the engine of the body goes. However, food causes many problems like: anorexia, bulimia, hunger or obesity.
Anorexia and bulimia are nourishing disorders that people suffers because they believe they are fat. These people stop eating to be slimmer, and they eat less and less because they continually want to be thinner. For them, food is the worst thing that exists and they don't realize that it is essential to be able to live. They need a treatment to start eating little by little again because stopping eating causes serious problems to their bodies.
The hunger is more developed in underdeveloped countries. Every day thousands of people die of starvation because they don't have any drinkable water and essential nutrients and vitamins.
Obesity is another problem. This one is increasing around the world, especially in children. The obese people are those who weigh so much that their weight disturbs their daily life.
Thus, although food is something necessary and good, sometimes can cause many healthy problems, and solve them is matter of everybody.

Are elections fair really?
Since Franco had died in 1975, Spain has been a bipartisan country, with a bipartisan Congress and a bipartisan Senate ( wait, does the Senate exists?). The facts which has done that Spain is bipartidist has been the electoral law, apart from the media and the ideals inculcated by the dictatorship.
The electoral law ,based on D'hont law, is a very important fact because it is done to promote the bipartisan. Thus, to get a seat a small politic party needs many more votes than a big politic part like PSOE or PP, what made it easy to them to get the power.
The media is another important factor. Nowadays everybody watches TV, listens to the radio or reads newspaper, where usually only appear news about the two big political party. Media is what really made people want to vote one political party or another political party, they are who presents you your voting options and who sell you every candidate (in the way they want).
The ideals inculcated by the dictatorship are very important although it does not seem today. In 2015, there are many people who are afraid of voting a new political party or simply a left party because in the dictatorship, Franco caused panic with left ideals and made people though left was evil.
Spanish has not changed so many since Franco had died and it is showed each four years in every electoral elections and in the current society where the dictatorship ideals are very present. Changing Spain and making Spain free is in our hands leaving behind the dictatorship and its opression and thinink by ourselves.

With love
Dear Reader
I'm writing to tell you about how my life changed when I won the jackpot prize in 1999.
When I won the prize I didn't know what to do with the sum because I had never imagine winning it and I didn't need the money really. So, firstly I thought the best option was buying a new car or a new house as usually people do but my grandmother got ill, she had a strange ill and seeing her fightint to save her life made me change my mind. Although she finally beat the ill, this fact made me think about my money and how my money could help other people like her.I was searching and asking and finally, I found many organisations dedicated to help ill people without resources and money and I decided to spend the cash prize donating the money to these organisations instead of wasting it in useless things, what really made my family very proud of me and I started living an incredible experience meeting amazing people.
I want to encourage you to do the same with that money you don't know what to do with. Besides, it will do you feel better in yourself and it will do you change the way you see life because there are many people who really need our help around the world.
Love.

Technology in class
If you didn’t have a laptop, tablet or mobile phone in
class, how would your learning be different? Nowadays, technology is present in
our classes and many students carry laptop, tablet or mobile phone, which has
advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand, one of the advantages of using laptop or tablet is that you can use it as a digital notebook to take notes faster and follow the teacher's explanation easier. Furthermore, it is a good way of saving paper. This is very important because saving paper is vital for the planet. Another advantage is the immediacy because if you need information about something you can search for it at the same moment. Furthermore, if you take a laptop or tablet to class, you will weigh less than if you carry a backpack with many books. Currently, teachers also use new technologies to explain. They use internet and some gadgets like power point or prezzi… to prepare the subject and expose it in their classes.
On the other hand, the technologies have some disadvantages because they are expensive, for example. Also keep in mind that new technologies can be difficult for some old teachers. Many of them prefer to continue using paper because they don’t understand the use of certain software or they don’t know how to use the PC. The biggest disadvantage of new technologies in class is that they can produce many distractions, especially with the use of mobile phone, because of it is forbidden in class: it causes many distractions and it hasn’t anyadvantage in learning.
When I was a school student I didn’t like to use laptops because they were a waste of time and they weren’t as advanced as nowadays they are. However, when I have started studying at university I like using them apart from the text book because they are very useful. In short, laptops and tablets have started a new way of studying, based on technology which is stronger every day.

Are zoos a solution?
People
aren’t aware of cruelty of zoos which used animals for entertainment and not to
protect species .
When I
was a child I went to the zoo with my family because my dream was to see tigers
and lions very close to me. However, I didn’t see that, what I saw was animals
in prison, animals that didn’t want to be kept in artificial ecosystems. I only
wanted unlock the cages.
It’s
true animals are cared of and fed but they are deprived of the most important
and what really makes them animals: freedom. Animals in captivity suffers
stress and boredom too.
At the
same way, what do that an specie animal become extinct is the human activity,
modifying every ecosystem directly or indirectly( as global warming), so zoos
aren’t a solution, the solution is humans care of our own planet.
Futhermore, animals
are unable to develop their skills in small enclosures with unnatural weather
and climates. For example, elephants walk 30 miles in one day and they can’t do
it in zoos because there isn’t enough space which can lead them to suffer some
diseases. In addition, baby animals improve the number of visitor and the money, but this
incentive to breed new baby animals leads to overpopulation and they are sold
not only to other zoos, but also to circuses or hunting facilities.
Zoos imprison animals that want to be and should be free, so zoos are only a
business.
Credit cards
Every day more and more people use credit
cards to pay for purchases in physical shops or to pay on-line. But, in the same way it has advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand, the
advantages credit cards presents are the ease of
payment offered because carry cash isn’t
necessary and you can buy on-line in an easier way , in addition credit cards are very easy to use. Even if
somebody steal your credit card you could annul its use.
On the other hand, the disadvantages are excessive
spending because you could do a spending
you can’t afford and it lead to a compulsively buy and, futhermore having a credit card presents costs while paying cash is free.
In my case, I prefer paying by credit card because I think it is the most confortable way and the most safe.

Essay about teachers
A teacher is that person who accompany us in a large period of our life. I have been going to school since I was three every day and it has doing I have been educated by teachers not only in a knowledge way but also in a way of learning values and behaviors (as many as subject I have had). Over the years, I have had different types of teacher that I classify in three: the serious one, the funny one and the good one.
The serious one is that teacher who is very misterious because you never see him laughing or talking about something that there is not about his subject. In addition, he does boring lectures what does difficult to pay attention . However, he is a strict person what actually does you are a constant person doing homework and it helps you to pass the exams in a easier way. From this type of teacher I have learnt to working daily and to take studies seriously but not to enjoy the knowledge.
The funny one is that teacher who is always laughing and joking and who everybody knows about because the first day tell you all about his life. He is always doing activities with do not have to do with the subject or simply talking about how the life goes. But finally, the exam has to do with the subject and everything is a mess because nobody knows what to study or what to do. From these teachers I have learnt nothing about their subjects but I have learnt to take the life with humor and that I have to study daily in spite of a subject doesn't seem serious.
The good one is that teacher who really loves his subject and does you love it too. This sort of teacher the first day tell you that he is there to help you and he demonstrates that it was true during the school year. Furthermore, he does nice lectures and he jokes and he is serious when he has to. From these, I have learnt to enjoy the learning, to want to know more and more every day and to be a good student.
Teachers are who do the way you learn because they influence your personality and they are who show you the world from their point of view. Everybody has different types of teacher in his life but everybody must know to keep the good things of each one.

She
My most
admired person is my mother because she is the most amazing person I have ever
known. She has played an important role in every aspect of my life not only as
a mother but also as a teacher and as a friend.
As a
mother she is the best. She has got to bring up two children while she was
working and while she was taking care of our house. She also suffered a illness
during a year which she got on because
she was strong and charismatic. However, in spite of her life hasn’t been easy
she has always been cheerful and lovely and she has always put my sister and I
first.
As a
teacher she has taught me everything I know. Apart from walking and speaking I have
learnt from her to love and respect everybody and everything, the importance of
the family support, the effort and the self-improvement and not to make snap
decisions.
Finally,
as a friend she has showed me the value of the confidence, to be a loyal
person, not to bear a grudge, to keep a secret... And who better than her to
advise me.
She has done the person I am today because I have learnt everything from her.

To jump is not a solution
A man is trying to jump from the top of the building to the street because he has several problems. Firstly, he has just been fired, so he has economical problems. Secondly, his girlrfriend has just broken up with him because she's meeting another man. As a result he feels nothing has sense in his life now and he has decided the suicide is the only solution to all his problems.
I consider suicide is not the better solution, somebody must tell him that life not consist in to be good in money and in love, money and love have streaks and it only consists in finding another job and finding another woman... what is not easy but life has also many things which pays off. So, the only way to help the jumper is talking with him and convicing him the life is nice.

Shopping center?
I hate going to the shopping center because it's a very oppressive place. When I was child, one day I went to the shopping center with my family
to spend the day at Albacete ,there were many people and I was very little, so
I was lost in the crowd and it was really
terrible for me. Since that moment, I don’t
like shopping centers, I think they are too closed places.Although it is also true that they are places where
you can find all the products in the same place, so it’s a comfortable place where shopping and
at the same time you find
entertainment . However, I don’t like shopping centers , I prefer
spend my time in others outdoor places
as the park, the mountain… wherever you
can breathe fresh air.
An incredible clock
The Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster,
known as Big Ben, is one of the most famous monuments to visit in London. It’s
the most representative tower of the city of London and possesses one of the
biggest mechanical clocks in the world. Big Ben is the name by the tower is
known around the world but officially this name is of the main bell which
weighs 13.8 tons. The building started in 1843, after the great fire of
London which seriously affected the
Palace of Westmister. Charles Barry was in charge of the reconstruction project
which added the tower to the palace and it was designed in a Victorian Gothic
style.
The clock was started in May 1859 and it’s one
of the most reliable watches that exist because it’s able to withstand snow and
wind. Even during World War II, it endured the Blitz maintaining its punctuality
intact. Although the clock failed in New Year’s Eve 1962 for technical reasons
and the British began the New Year 10 minutes after.
The Big Ben tower has started to lean due to
digging new tunnels near Westminster.
Big Ben is my favorite icon of UK because I
think it’s the most interesting and representative monument of UK. Besides, I
like its story because it’s a survivor of two World Wars.
I’ve never been to UK but If I go someday the first place where I
would go it would be Big Ben, it should be incredible.

An opinion paragraph
Students in rural areas have less means for their academic preparation than students in urban areas.
I'm from Elche de la Sierra ( a little village of Albacete) so I know the disadvantages of studying in a rural area. I have experienced a very old school without any sport facility, a very little library ( where the librarian himself donated his own books), where classes have only chairs and tables and a very old blackboard chalk, where the computer room is 20 years old... You can imagine.
Besides, it's very difficult culture arrives to rural areas so children don't grow into that, there aren't theatres, or cinemas, conferences... there aren't anything related with culture.
This is due to the little government investment in culture specially in getting it in rural areas, so the solution is a more investment because rural areas also exist.

Untouched regions and tourism
.
Even though civilization are all around
us, there are still some parts of the earth where our influence is small.
Visiting the most unspoilt parts in the world should be the most amazing thing. Seeing places no one has seen before : the real nature with beautiful sceneries, untouched regions where the traffic, the crowd, the shopping, the pollution... don’t exist, where a keen photographer would enjoy as a child. Places as:
- Namibia, one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world located in the southern of Africa, which is home to the largest number of cheetahs.
- Galapagos is home to giant tortoises , iguanas, sea lions, penguins, whales and fish and has been a biological marine preserve for fifty years.
-Papua New Guinea, one of the most rural and least explored places in the world which scientist think that many of the world’s undiscovered species of plants and animals exist in the jungle interior of the country .
-Bhutan, a no polluted place where more than 60 percent of the country is cover of forest, and the main of his territory has been designated as national parks or protected areas.
All of this places are inhabited but they aren’t victims of human activity, so they are keep practically intact.
I disagree with the fact of tourists visiting the most unspoilt parts in the world because tourism modifies the areas. Besides people would begin to want earn money at the expense of the scenery and they will modify the place building accommodations, using cars… And it would produce the change of the place as humans do with everything modifying the nature at will.
So, I think the really beauty of that places is the fact that it could be touristic places but they aren’t because the hearth of nature is in that unspoilt parts where a few humans live according to the nature and the nature doesn’t live according to the human life.

Start telling the stories that only you can tell, because there'll always be better writers than you and there'll always be smarter writers than you. There will always be people who are much better at doing this or doing that- but you are the only you.- Neil Gaiman
Ana María Matute (one of the best Spanish writter) said: "Writing is always protest, even oneself"
To write you have to have a story to tell, it can be your own story or a fictional story but whatever you write borns to you.
You are the only responsible of your own words : the order, the intention, the finality,... It doesn't matter if you write to fun, yo unburden, as a job,... It only matters you tell what you want tell, and it will be unique because it will have your essence.
Who is better than you to tell your story? Even a same idea can have different points of view.
So, a good story is that excites you, that makes you think, that makes you forget everything while you are reading it, that makes you to know more about it and that can connect with the feelings. Being real or ficticional, it's yours.
It's true will always be better writters than you but there'll never be better writters writing what you write, telling your own story.
Giant's Causeway
Giant's Causeway is a popular destination situated in Northern Ireland. It was created 60 million years ago when a sea of lava cooled forming hexagonal blocks of basalt surrounded by the water.
It's a very brave place where you feel amazed at the power of nature, like a famous music compositor was, who dedicated a play to this place after he saw it.
When you stare at this place you can see a blue and brown colours mix. It's fantastic and very nostalgic because the sound is very peaceful.

Is recycling a solution?
In the world are living nearly 7,000 million people.
This positive development has negatives consequences : there is a greater
consumption of resources and we generate more waste product. It is also
difficult to estimate how many tons of waste are generated annually.
Environmental groups have proposed the "triple r" consisting of:
reduce (consumption), reuse (things) and recycle . Now I propose a reflection
on this theme: is recycling a solution?
On the one hand, recycling allows to use less
natural resources and it causes less
damage to nature: for example, for every ton of recycled paper saves 17 trees. Besides, it generates a consumption responsible and "green jobs" too.
On the other hand, recycling is a complicated and expensive process .
So, children must learn to recycle at home by example because they will be the responsible of our planet in the future.
In my opinion, recycling helps to save the world but it isn't enough. We need more awareness.

FEAR OF
Fear of you go
Fear of not sharing with you every season
Fear of spring
Fear of you don't watch me in every flower
Fear of not sharing with you my umbrella
Fear of not seeing our reflection in puddles
Fear of the autumn
Fear of not treading leaves with you
Fear of you don't borrow me your jacket
Fear of the cold
Fear of winter
Fear of seeing the snow falling
Fear of my cold bed
Fear of the night
Fear of summer
Fear of the sea
Fear of a new beginning
Fear of losing my luck
Fear of the loneliness...

Are some jobs more important than others?
In my opinion, all jobs are equally important but some
jobs are more recognized than others in
the society.
In general, people think that a doctor or a teacher
are more important than a farmer but,
from my point of view, all three are very important. While a doctor saves your
life and a teacher teaches you, a farmer gives you food ( what is necessary to live).
There are also many jobs that depend on others, for
example, a car mechanic wouldn’t exist if there weren’t cars manufacturers. In
a factory there are, at the same time several jobs : from the engineer to the
welder or warehouse supervisor. It’s a clear example that some jobs need
others.
In short, I strongly believe that there aren’t professions
more important than others because all of them are important and necessary.

Missing my village and preparing my new life.
Hello! My name is Raquel, I'm 17 (yes,17 D: ), and it's my first Blog.
I would like to start this blog telling something about me, so here I go.
It's the first time I'm living in a city because I'm from a little village in the south of Albacete called Elche de la Sierra.
Living there really presents a lot of advantages as the stress doesn’t exist, and it’s fantastic! And not only the stress doesn’t exist but also you needn’t use the car to go to work or to study. Furthermore people have a healthier lifestyle than in the city because there isn’t pollution, there are many parks and you are living in the nature!
It's true living in a village as Elche de la Sierra has many disadvantages too ( not everything can be wonderful) because it's very difficult the arrival of culture (one of the most important things), there are fewer options for study, much people aren't open to new thoughts...
So, my new life in Murcia presents to me a challenge because everything looks very big here and it's very different from my past, and to be 130 kilometers from my family means I am "independent" now. Despite this, the effort worth it because studying in Murcia University is a dream for me, and I will take advantage of this opportunity.
